By default, Susurate reports don't need approval during submission. However, you can always change it when you want to from the platform settings.
How to Enable the Susurate Report Moderation Feature
To enable the report moderation feature, follow these steps:
1. Go to the setup panel.
On your portal, click on the "Settings" link on the left-hand side panel.
2. Navigate to the Susurate settings.
Now that you're inside the setup panel, click on the "Susurate" tab under "Usage and Account" settings.
3. Enable the report approval feature.
On the Susurate tab, go to the "Approval" settings and you will see a slider with the label "Enable report approval". Click on it to turn the feature on.
As you can see above, after turning the feature on, you can also enable (or have it stay disabled) the option to include pending data in charts.
Once you're done, all you have to do is click on the "Save" button.
Dashboards will not be updated with any data that is pending review unless you enable the function to allow pending data in charts.
How to moderate Susurate reports
After enabling the Susurate reports moderation, you will find another submenu under Susurate.
When reports are submitted, as the approver, you will be notified via email and there will be a link in the email that takes you directly to the report that has been submitted for you to review and approve the report.
You can approve, reject or reject with feedback on your review of the report submitted. We recommend that feedback is given which enables the submitter to rectify the identified error.
If the report is rejected, the user will receive an notification via email to edit and resubmit the report for review which they can do by clicking "Re-submit report" button on the email notification.
Once the report is re submitted, the approver will be notified again for them to review and approve the report.
Alternative way to moderate reports
To moderate the reports, follow these steps:
1. Go to the summary of unmoderated reports.
On your portal, click on the "Susurate" menu on your left-hand panel and click on the "Report approval" item.
2. Select an initiative to moderate.
On the next page, you will find the initiatives with unmoderated reports.
To proceed, click on an initiative.
3. Select the reports to approve.
Finally, select a report to approve. You can also select all and do a bulk approval on all of the reports listed here.
After selecting a report, click on the "Approve" button.
