Currently, the admin who added the opportunity gets automatically included in the attendee list. This works well for volunteer attendance.
On the other hand, there may be instances when you need to exclude the creator of the opportunity in the instances where the session is about training children or parents.
Excluding the creator of the opportunity from the attendee list means that they are not included in the opportunity report and therefore they do not need to be manually excluded.
Fortunately, you can now enable/disable this feature that automatically includes the opportunity creator to the attendee list.
How to enable/disable the feature that adds the opportunity creator as an attendee
Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to your platform settings by clicking on the "Settings" link on the left-hand sidebar. Then, under "Usage and Account", click on the "Opportunity reporting" tab.
2. Scroll down until you get to the "Advanced opportunity fields" section.
Then, do the following:
- Turn the slider to "YES" to include the opportunity creator as an attendee
- Turn the slider to "NO" to exclude the opportunity creator as an attendee
3. Don't forget to click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the "Usage and Account" settings.
