How to Create a Graph on Session Attendance

The Susurate feature is not only great in organisation reporting, but it's also helpful in tracking data on specific opportunities, especially those that concern session attendance.

This article will teach you how to add an initiative that captures attendance and create a visualisation that shows the attendance over time.

How to Create an Initiative That Captures Attendance

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Susurate on the left-hand sidebar. Then, go to Initiatives and click the Add an initiative button.

2. Give the new initiative a name, specify the date frame (start and end date of the initiative), and choose a reporting period (how many times the participants would need to report on the session).

In the example you see above, the initiative is supposed to run from the start of 2021 until the end of the year, with the participants having to report only once a month.

3. While on the Initiatives page, click the name of your newly created initiative.

4. Click the Add an indicator button to add indicators to the initiative.

5. Since the purpose is to capture attendance, you must add an indicator related to it, like the average monthly attendance.

Simply click on the field and find the indicator. After that, click on the Add indicator(s) button.

If you can't find the impact indicator you need, you can always add another one. Read the impact indicators section on this guide.

6. To link the initiative with the right organisations, go back to the summary page of the initiative (check step #3). Then, scroll down the bottom and click the Initiative organisations button.

7. On the next page, click on the Add organisation(s) button.

8. On the field, find the organisations you want to add. Once you're done, click on the Add organisation(s) button.

If you can't find a certain organisation, then it's possible that it's either in moderation or rendered organisations. Check out this article to learn more about managing organisations.

With that, organisation admins can finish a report on the initiative every month. Note that you can also set up Susurate and organisation targets to let users know how the initiatives are doing.
