What are initiatives and why do you need to report on them?

Note: This article is written in the view of the Organisation Administrator who will complete reports. SuperAdmin are able to access all organisations and complete reports, so too are group admins (for the linked Organisations)
Much work has gone into the indicators you may be requested to report on, support your stakeholders in ensure accurately data is captured in good time
- Initiatives are setup with well defined indicators and your platform admins might have specifically connected your organisations profile to one or (mostly likely) many initiatives
- Each initiatives generates a specific report and helps the platform generate Impact reports. All based on the data you capture.
Where do I report?
In mostly cases you will receive an email, which will link you directly to the report which is now due. However, if you have missed it you can locate your outstanding reports by following these steps:
- Access your portal and Login
- Navigate to 'Organisations' from the left hand [this might be called something different on your portal] > Search and click on your organisation profile
- Select the Initiative which this organisation profile is connect to > and then click report now
>>> TIP. >>> Each organisation profile will need to be connected to each initiative, based on the data request from your organisation. Some of these reporting requirements might annual, some daily, or monthly.
Completing a Report
On the reporting page, there are a few things to note:
- Be sure you have selected the correct period (date range) for the data being captured
- Targets may guide you, however this is to not influence your entry - kindly reach out to your administrator if you feel the target has been incorrectly assigned to your profile
- If you have nothing to report, please click 'Nothing to report', the page will ask you for a comment, then be sure to click submit
- Each indicator is managed independently and these populate charts and reports. Take care to be 100% of the data being is being assigned to each indicator

What are initiatives and why do you need to report on them
Part of your responsibility as an Org Admin includes getting your reporting done as per the setup of your platform managers.
Initiatives are setup with well defined indicators and your platform admins might have specifically connected your organisations profile to one or (mostly likely) many initiatives.
Each initiatives generates a specific report and helps the platform generate Impact reports. All based on the data you capture.
Completing your Susurate report
You will receive an email alerting you of upcoming reports that you need to complete. Follow the link from the email to complete the required report.
Alternatively you could:
- Login as a User
- Navigate and click on your Organisation
- Click on Report now
- Select your reporting period
- Fill in all the reporting fields and click submit
Finding the reporting link
If you did not already receive the link directly via email you can navigate over to your system and follow these steps?
- Login
- Organisations > Search > click on your organisation profile
- It will be right there! If nothing shows up, it means that your profile is not connected to any initiatives
