A budget plan can help you prioritize your fundraising and other financial goals. Having one would also let you focus on more important things — managing the affairs of your organisation.

With a few tweaks, you can activate the budget planning input straight from the Setup Panel. Doing so would result to having additional forms when you (or anyone in your organisation) post an opportunity or edit an existing one. The forms ask you for information about your organisation's proposed plan for a fundraising goal. This gives you and the organisation more visibility and transparency. Plus, having an actual visible fundraising goal makes the goal more realistic and helps you track its progress.
