Subscribing to an Organisation

Introduction
Subscribing to an organisation enables you to receive email updates from activities within the organisation. Opportunity administrators are also able to invite subscribers to an opportunity as volunteers. There is no limit to the number of organisations you can subscribe.
How to subscribe to an organisation?
To start, click [Organisations] at the left-hand sidebar.
Clicking [Organisation] brings you to the Manage organisations page.
If you know the name of the organisation you want to subscribe, use the search feature to find the organisation faster.
Type in the name (even a keyword will do) and the search feature will find it for you.
Once you found the organisation, click the [Subscribe] box at the right side under the Actions column.
Once you subscribe, you will receive updates about the organisation's activity and receive invites for different opportunities.
You can also scan the different organisations listed. Click the name of the organisation for more information.
Click the organisation's name will bring you to the organisation's Quick stats page.
Once you found an organisation that fits your interests, needs, or hobbies, click the [Subscribe] box at the right side of the page under the Activity tab.
Once you subscribe, you will receive updates about the organisation's activity and receive invites for different opportunities.
In case you want to unsubscribe, just visit the organisation's Quick stats page the same you found it and click [Unsubscribe].
After you unsubscribe, you will not receive email updates any more.
What if you own the organisation?
If you are the owner of the organisation or a member of its administrative committee, you can ask permission from the administrators to manage the organisation.
To do so, click the [Click here to manage it] under "Is this organisation yours?" tab. It is found at the right side of the page below the Activity tab.
After clicking the link, administrators will review your request to manage the organisation.
