Personal Data Collection on User Profiles


Objectives: 

  • Learn the types of personal data that can be collected and shown on a user's profile
  • Learn how to set up the collection of personal data on a user's profile

What are the types of personal data you can collect and show on a user's profile?


As a super administrator, you can choose to collect and show certain personal information from a user's profile. The personal fields that can be shown or removed are:

  1. National ID/Passport
  2. Race
  3. Age
  4. Gender
  5. Nationality
  6. Initials

Note: Make sure you are complying with the Protection of Personal Information act (PoPI).


How to set up the collection of personal data on a user's profile?


To start, click [Settings] on the left-hand sidebar.



Under Usage and Account, click "User Profiles".



Then,

  1. Click the slider to change the setting to YES beside the line Show personal fields on user's profile to collect and how personal data on a user's profile
  2. Hit Save

Note:  Changing the slider back to NO would result to the removal of collection and display of personal data on a user's profile.
