Personal Data Collection on User Profiles
Objectives:
- Learn the types of personal data that can be collected and shown on a user's profile
- Learn how to set up the collection of personal data on a user's profile
What are the types of personal data you can collect and show on a user's profile?
As a super administrator, you can choose to collect and show certain personal information from a user's profile. The personal fields that can be shown or removed are:
- National ID/Passport
- Race
- Age
- Gender
- Nationality
- Initials
Note: Make sure you are complying with the Protection of Personal Information act (PoPI).
How to set up the collection of personal data on a user's profile?
To start, click [Settings] on the left-hand sidebar.
Under Usage and Account, click "User Profiles".
Then,
- Click the slider to change the setting to YES beside the line Show personal fields on user's profile to collect and how personal data on a user's profile
- Hit Save
Note: Changing the slider back to NO would result to the removal of collection and display of personal data on a user's profile.
