Mentors: Reporting on a session to get your Hours

Modified on Wed, 10 May 2017 at 06:20 PM

You are a mentor and you need to capture those hours, here are some steps you'll need to take

After your awesome mentorship session is over, we know that you’d probably want to sit back, relax and congratulate yourself. You’ve put in all the hard work, after all. But it’s not over until you report all your hard work!

Reporting on your session is a vital step towards letting your organisation and superiors know what you’ve been doing and how it’s going.

Adding a Session

There are two steps to logging your service hours for mentoring. You'll need to first have your session load, if you have not yet done this.

Read more here on about how you can add your session

You can add it from your profile

Reporting on your session - proof that it happened

Firstly your session would need to be added, then you'll be promoted to report on it, this is to help you

What you need to complete your report:

  • 5 minutes, hopefully right after your session (you get bonus score if you complete it within 24 hours)
  • A computer, phone or tablet with access to internet to access the report (which will be a print out for signatures)
  • Your filled out attendance registers (this might be just you and your mentee if), scanned (click to read about how to upload scanned registers)
  • The link to the Reporting page. (instructions below)

Read more here on about how you can report on your session (which you have added above)
