How to effectively find opportunities?

There are two functions you can use to find opportunities:

  1. Search
  2. Filter

Below are the different ways you can utilize these functions to find the opportunities that fit your interests.

Search with Keywords

You can search by using a word or phrase from your ideal volunteer opportunity.

To use it, make sure you are on the opportunities page. If not, click [Opportunities] on the left-hand sidebar.

Then, type your keyword(s) on the search bar provided. As you type, the platform searches its database of opportunities available that fits your keyword(s).

For example, if you are in search of 'cleaning' opportunities, just enter the word "clean" on the search bar and see the opportunities available listed below.

Search via Map

The opportunities page features a map you can use to find opportunities that fit your desired location.

Search via Calendar

The opportunities page features a calendar you can use to find opportunities that fit your available date.

Filter by Interests

Click the form under the What interests you? section.

Filter by Country

Filter based on what country the opportunity is based on.

Click the form under the Where? section.

Filter by Date

You can filter opportunities by the dates you are available.

Click the form under the What dates are suitable for you? section.

Found nothing?

You are always welcome to add an opportunity.

Click the [Add an Opportunity] box just below the filter feature section.

Note: Your added opportunity is subject for moderation.
