All platform users need to create an authenticated profile to use the tool.
This profile is known as a Social Profile. All profiles ask for basic information - such as name, address, contact details - which can be found here. To facilitate matching with opportunities, users are also required to list some interests. Administrator profiles (such as below) are more detailed, reflecting ratings, hours completed and skills gained.
Personal details are not publicly visible. Only administrators and super-administrators can see users' contact details. *All data is compliant wit the South African Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act. Depending on your organisation's needs, we can customise user profiles to collect and reflect information about your network that is relevant to your mission or brand. For example, if you need to find out or list your users' type of electronic device used or main mode of transport - these are fields we can add to custom profiles. We can also ask your users to upload particular files, such as student cards or IDs for validation.
